Barnardo'sIn December 2010, staff at Berrymans Lace Mawer LLP (BLM) selected children's charity Barnardo's to be the firm's national charity for the next two years. Staff will continue to help the charity in its mission to transform over 100,000 disadvantaged children's lives every year.
BLM chair of the CSR committee, Chris Newton, and national senior partner, Terry Renouf, will work with BLM's designated account manager to establish a programme of events and support. As well as national events and possible places in the Chicago and Berlin marathons, there are also lots of opportunities for BLM to get involved locally, including team building events, a workplace lottery, and working in a Barnardo's shop for a day. BLM's aim is to work together to build on the success of the past four years working with The Prince's Trust. Together we raised in excess of £220,000 for the youth charity, helping so many young people in the UK to change their lives through employment, education and training.
