BLM and CSR

BLM embraces CSR for the benefit of our local communities, the wider environment and staff personal development. Our commitment to CSR encompasses much more than providing pro bono legal advice; it touches on the community, our marketplace, the environment and our workplace. It covers a broad range, from our commitment to recycling and to using fair trade coffee, to working with disadvantaged young adults in our local communities.

In December 2010 BLM staff selected children's charity Barnardo's to be the firm's national charity for the next two years. Staff will continue to help the charity in its mission to transform over 100,000 disadvantaged children's lives every year. Visit our Barnardo's page for more information.

Our support for Barnardo's follows four years during which BLM staff joined forces with The Prince’s Trust – well known for its work over the last 30 years with young people. BLM has assisted the Trust in its support of 14 – 30 year olds, through which it offers practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance.
