Experience |
- Head of Education/ Children's department in the Leeds office. Deals with numerous failure to educate claims, school closures, bullying, child abuse, and off-site accidents during trips and visits - from primary to university level, in both the public and private sector.
- Represents clients on admissions, exclusions, SEN panels and tribunals and on Ombudsman cases; and Judicial Review of decisions.
- Following a successful career as a headteacher, changed career qualifying as a solicitor in 2002 and joined BLM that year.
- Has brought a new dimension to BLM's education team with his insight into the realities of the teaching profession.
- A frequent speaker on education issues and the wider remit for local authorities and has numerous published articles.
