- Has extensive experience of managing a portfolio of work from composite insurers and supervising dedicated client teams.
- Specialises in defending claims from ambulance crews alleging failure to screen or offer counselling for the cumulative effects of attending accident scenes.
- Has developed a speciality in handling claims from local authorities.
- Successfully defended an employers’ liability claim in the Court of Appeal (Alderson v Piggott & Whitfield Ltd) relating to death of an employee through alleged negligence and a breach of duty of care by an electrical contractor.
- Trained with A W Mawer, qualified in 1984 and became a partner in 1988.
