  • Numerous major reported cases ranging from Anns vs. Merton LB [1978] (tort) to Home Office vs. Harman [1983] (administrative law) and Cambridge Water Co vs. E Counties Leather [1996]
  • Has appeared in numerous environmental liability cases including Middleton vs. Wiggin (1996 - ambit of pollution exclusion clause following Loscoe explosion) and English Partnerships v MM (1998 - clean up of Chatham dockyard).
  • Has appeared in courts at all levels from Tottenham Magistrates (the toughest of the lot!) to the House of Lords (eight times) and the European Court of Justice (twice).
  • Called 1968 Inner Temple; independent practice as a barrister 1 Crown Office Row 1968-2000; 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square 2000-02. Joined BLM In 2002.
