Has an interest in all occupational disease but specialises in asbestos litigation, stress, RSI, occupational asthma, radiation along with policy coverage and apportionment issues.
Advises insurers on emerging issues and trends affecting IBNR assessments.
Qualified in 1989, made partner in 1997 and now heads the southern offices of the national occupational disease group.

Membership/appointments

Attended the Law Society’s consultative committee on the pre-action disease and illness protocol.
Chairs the FOIL disease special interest group.
Is a co-author of the ABI's mesothelioma handling guidelines.
