Experience:
- Extensive experience advising insurers on all aspects of personal injury, including policy and coverage disputes with a particular expertise and interest in complex and catastrophic injury claims.
- Intervened on behalf of a number of insurers in the House of Lords in the case of Mirvahedy v Henley and has recently had a reported case of Barry v Pugh dismissed where damages would have exceeded £2 million.
- Heads catastrophic injury team in London office.
- Member of the editorial board of BLM's in-house magazine Disclosure and is the managing editor of PI Weekly Review, a weekly e-cast.
- Qualified as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand 1981 and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1989.
