Experience:
- Has considerable experience of a wide variety of insurance and professional indemnity disputes, and of all forms of civil litigation including judicial review and tribunals.
- Instructed in relation to ‘pure’ insurance issues principally concerning insurance litigation.
- Professional indemnity cases include the leading Court of Appeal decision in the race discrimination claim of Ahmed v University of Oxford, financial advisers, accountants, bankers, police, surveyors/valuers, managing/lettings/estate agents and computer consultants.
- Has experience of secondment as a claims handler to major insurers.
- Read law at Cambridge, called to the Bar in 1993, moved to BLM in 1995, cross-qualified as a solicitor-advocate in 2001 and made partner in 2002.
