Experience:
- Andrew joined BLM in October 2007 from the former James Chapman & Co practice where he was a partner in their catastrophic injury team.
- Andrew specialises in catastrophic injury cases arising from EL, PL and RTA claims involving complex liability issues, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputee claims and serious orthopaedic injuries.
- Andrew successfully led and co-ordinated the defence of a series of claims for stress brought by civilian employees of the MOD, which resulted in the discontinuance of these claims and substantial costs recovery against the claimants’ Union. Andrew also has considerable experience of handling asbestos related disease claims.
- Andrew regularly provides seminars and training to insurers within his areas of expertise.
