BLM Partner Appointed Deputy District Judge

Berrymans Lace Mawer partner Jeremy Davies has been appointed Deputy District Judge for the South Eastern circuit. 

Jeremy joined BLM in 1997 and became a partner in 2000. He has 14 years experience of defending child abuse cases brought against local authorities, charities, schools and other organisations both in the context of multi party actions and individuals claims. He recently conducted a lengthy internal inquiry into the deaths of two individuals receiving care services in the community. Since qualifying Jeremy has also advised and acted, in a regulatory and claims – based setting, on behalf of doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Other partners from Berrymans Lace Mawer who are also deputy district judges are Michael Brown and Val Jones. Both sit for the northern circuit.
